Selection Procedure
The selection for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) will be written test and interview. The exam pattern would be as following:
- Preliminary Exam:
- The exam would be of Objective Type MCQ
- There will be no negative marking
- Paper-I
- Paper-I will comprise of General Studies, Knowledge of hhattisgarh and reasoning.
- Paper-I will be bi-langual (English and Hindi)
- Paper-II
- Paper-II will comprise of questions from respective branch of engineering.
- Paper-II will be in English only.
- Total Marks: 300 Marks each for Paper-I and Paper-II
- Total Duration: 3 Hours for each paper
- Cut-off marks for both the papers is 40% (30% for SC/ST)
- Main Exam-Interview
- Total marks for interview: 75
The merit list for selection would be prepared category-wise considering marks secured in the written exams and interviews.
