    Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.

    At least 15 years of administrative and teaching or administration experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
    Finance OfficerA Master’s degree/ MBA degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale or Chartered Accountant or ICWA.
    At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer or six years’ experience as Associate Professor or Reader or as Professor along with experience in financial administration in any University or College.
    OR
    Comparable experience in financial administration in Govt, or semi govt, Institution or in organization of repute or in any other institutions of higher education.
    OR
    At least 15 years of administrative and teaching or administration experience Of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
    Controller of
    Examinations
    A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
    At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer or six years’ experience as Associate Professor or Reader or as Professor along with experience in educational administration/Directorate.
    OR
    Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education.
    OR
    At least 15 years of administrative and teaching or administration experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
    Assistant RegistrarGood academic- record plus Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale.
    Experience: Five years of supervisory experience. The experience should be in establishment/legal matters in a Government/ Semi-Government/ Public Sector/ Autonomous organizations/ University/ Educational Institutions of Higher Learning and having a good working knowledge of general administration and rules and regulations relating to University.

    Note:-
    I. The minimum requirement of 55% marks (as mentioned in para-3) shall not be insisted upon for Registrar for the existing incumbents who are already in the University system.
    II. The appointment of Registrar, Controller of Examinations and Finance Officer shall on the basis of direct recruitment for a tenure of four years, which may be extended by the order of the syndicate for further four years only.

    PERCENTAGE EQUIVALENCE OF GRADE POINTS FOR A SEVEN POINTS SCALE

    It is hereby clarified that where the University/College/Institution declare results in grade points which is on a scale of seven, the following mechanism shall be referred to ascertain equivalent marks in percentage:
