Persons with Disabilities
Persons with Disabilities belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC categories are eligible for cumulative age relaxation benefit.
Candidates coming under Category-I and Category-II types of contractual employees and who are below 45 years of age shall be eligible to get the benefits of special provisions as per Rule-8 of the as per Rule-4 of Odisha Group-C and Group-D Posts (Contractual appointment) Rules-2013, provided they satisfy the conditions mentioned therein.
They should upload their self-attested copies of appointment letter/s for the entire period of contractual engagement/s along with the online application form.
If they have different spells of engagement, all such appointment letters should also be uploaded separately and mentioned clearly in the online application.
Such candidates shall keep the original appointment letters and other documents in support of their claim with them for verification to be done on a later date after the written examination.
The contractual Radiographer under OSH&FW Society/Scheme, if otherwise eligible, shall be 45 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
Such candidates must upload the appointment letter/s from their employers with self-attestation for availing relaxation.
They must keep the original appointment letters and other documents in support of their claim with them for verification to be done on a later date after the written examination.
The candidate must have passed +2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha/equivalent
passed Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) from any Government or any other private institutions recognized by Government of Odisha or All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
Bachelor of Radiation Technology (BMRT) or Master in Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) holders are also eligible to apply, provided they have obtained the basic qualification, i.e., Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT).
The candidate must have registered their names in Radiographers Council in the State and have valid registration certificate as on the date of advertisement.
A candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia and have
passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; or
passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects; or
passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a School or Educational Institution recognised by the Government of Odisha or Central Government;
passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department.

The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
A candidate, who has more than one spouse living or in case of a woman candidate, if married to a person having one spouse living, shall not be eligible for appearing at the examination, unless the State Government has exempted his/her case from operation of this limitation for any good and sufficient reasons;
Only those candidate, who possess the requisite qualification and fulfil other eligibility conditions by the closing date of submission of registered online applications will be considered eligible.
The candidate must have good moral character. Also, a candidate must be of good mental condition and bodily healthy and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of his/her duties as an officer of the Service/Post.
Applicant(s) claiming reservation as Sportsperson must possess Identity Card(s) issued by the Sports & Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha as on the date of application.
Applicants claiming reservation as Ex-serviceman must furnish an undertaking to the effect that they have not availed of any re-employment under the Government of Odisha or India till the date of this application.
Applicants claiming reservation under Persons with Disability(PwD) category must ensure that they possess Permanent Disability Certificate and belong to the category and sub-category of disability for which the post has been reserved. Further, to take the help of scribe in appearing the examination, they need to take written permission of the ADM-cum-District Superintendent concerned, at least three days prior to the date of Examination.
If any candidate has, at any time, been debarred from recruitment examination for a certain period by this Commission, he/she shall not be eligible for appearing the same for that specific period.

The examination fees should be paid online through OSSSC website: www.osssc.gov.in using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking facilities and other financial instruments enlisted in the Payment Page/Gateway of the Odisha Government Treasury Portal.
The fees should be paid under the Head of Account “0051-P.S.C.-104-UPSC/SSC Examination Fee-0047-Fees Collected for Conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213“.
The fee(s) paid shall neither be refunded under any circumstances nor can be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment of OPSC.
The Written Examination for the OSSSC Pharmacist Recruitment would be for 100 marks(MCQ type in OMR system) in one paper only as detailed below. The duration of the exam would be 2 Hours. There would be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
